Heritage North has supported the Northern Lights college in way of the Jimmy Fields Memorial Award for over a decade.
Jimmy Field was an elder of the Halfway River First Nations and the bursary is awarded to a Treaty 8 First Nations student who has completed their first year of a program with academic excellence. As a company who is well established in the community, HNCL believes that supporting youth in the continuation of their education helps to enrich the lives of all surrounding community members.
